We stayed at the villa for 4 nights over New Year's.  One of us had been to Bali twice before, one of us was a newbie.  We both loved the accommodations and the service.  From house manager Gusti, and all the other staff, we felt a genuine welcome- without any sense of obsequiousness. 
 
Among the highlights of our stay at Villa Natalie were:
 
-  fabulous cooking by Ketut (for a fraction of the price of any restaurant)
 
-  safe and cheerful driving by Putu (allowing us to see untouristed corners of Bali)
 
-  swimming in the pool at 2 a.m. when we awoke from jetlag
 
-  long walks along the beach and rocks both north (to Tanah Lot) and south (to Seminyak)
 
-  indulging in books and videos in between meals and naps
 
The design is excellent and the small touches (such as bottled water and turn-down service) make the villa feel like a high-end hotel.  For those who want to be with the crowd there is a cluster of beach bars and restaurants about 20 minutes walk away, but we preferred the solitude and service at "home."

Wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time at your Villa this weekend. The staff was wonderful and Villa itself is stupendous. Special thanks to Ketut. Her cooking was such that we had no desire to eat at a restaurant and she was extremely sweet to J.  You've created a very special place.

Just a very quick email to say thank you to you and Sam and your staff in Bali.
We are back in cold, rainy Melbourne and missing the warmth and lovely smiles of the Balinese.
We had a wonderful stay at Villa Nat. The staff were wonderful and nothing was too much bother for them. Gusti was lovely and so helpful with organising and answering all our questions. Ketut is truly an amazing cook and didn't even bat an eyelid when the kids requested lumpia for breakfast! Everything she made for us was just wonderful. Very ably assisted by Iluh and Made of course! The wedding was just wonderful. The villa looked gorgeous and the staff did too in all their finery. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to you all. Once again, thank you very much! Hopefully in the not too distant future we will be able to fly back to Bali and stay at the villa again! Maybe for my 40th birthday next year!

Well, it was quite a culture shock to return home and we are already plotting our next escape to Bali.  It is quite numbing to be back home and back into our work routines, as we desperately try to hold the images of Bali in our minds.  Bali and your villa exceeded our expectations.  Our stay at Villa Natalie was so absolutely wonderful.  You have a slice of heaven there.   Everyone was so warm, kind and welcoming.

...Drawn by the wonderful aromas, I wandered in the back and found Ketut cooking ... and I think it was our best meal.  Needless to say the food was exceptional.  Ketut and Iluh are very special, and Gusti was so helpful in arranging diving spur of the moment.  Kumang gave us wonderful anecdotes and information about the sites, symbolism and significance of the many things we encountered, enriching our experience and giving depth to the the lush tapestry that lay before us.  

Your villa is very comfortable, and your attention to so many details does not go unnoticed.  The pool and back drop are beautiful.  I cannot think of anything that (would) help improve the experience there.  We look forward to having the opportunity to return one day. I want to thank you for your tireless assistance with the details and questions we posed, we so appreciate your time, the feedback and recommendations that you provided.

We had a lovely time in Bali! The villa is excellent and the weather gorgeous. Thanks for all the information that you gave me. T went to Umalas riding (stables) twice and fell in love with Paco. She had a fantastic time at the pool at the villa as well and we managed a quick stop at Body and Soul (sadly could only purchase things for T).

Putu and Gusti were great but really the 2 that made our trip special were Iluh and Ketut! They fed us well and responded quickly to anything that we needed.

We had an amazing time at the Villa, just wish we were there the entire time!......ahhhhh, next time! Now D has seen a bit of Bali he agrees. He insisted on dragging me out to explore!
 
... I can't recommend Villa Natalie highly enough! It was like an oasis of tranquility, far enough away from the chaos, but not too far. I absolutely love the garden and everything you have planted, you've done an amazing job. I could easily have lay in the sun by the pool all day under that Frangipani tree and relaxed and read all day.
 
In fact, everything you have done with the villa is of the highest standard - we loved EVERYTHING about it. I imagine probably not that easy to achieve somewhere like Bali. The staff were great ... I have been recommending to all of my friends who I have caught up with, just hope there is still room for us next time we come over!

I just wanted to say thank you for everything. Our stay at your villa was absolutely wonderful. What a stunning, peaceful location! Your staff is amazing and we enjoyed our time with them. We really couldn't have asked for more. I only wish we could have stayed longer.  My mother-in-law is a travel agent and I will be sure to recommend your place in hopes that she can let her clients know about your beautiful home.

First and foremost, we had a fabulous time and thought the villa was gorgeous and the staff fantastic, in particular the girls. They were very attentive and also very accommodating of our requests. It was helpful to have had that call from you and been able to clarify that it was OK to have the girls stay on beyond 6pm as that definitely suited our needs and with the language barrier it was not 100% clear to us how OK that was.

We found Ketut's cooking exceptional and in the end we only managed to get out for a couple of meals and have to say she matched the best of them ... So, all in all  - it's a great place and we would happily come back again.

Just want to drop you a note. It was very nice to stay at the Villa. The staff is well trained and helped us settle in at the villa.  We enjoyed the cook and her meals.  They all took very good care of us and kept the villa in tip top shape. Very pleasant to just kick back and hang by the pool…. Their help and good nature made for a very memorable stay at the villa.
